Everyone who runs their own business knows that there is freedom in being self-employed, but it can also be a lonely journey from time to time. In the wedding industry the proverbial water cooler where colleagues meet and discuss are the wedding fairs. They not only give a great opportunity to meet with brides, but also we get to see our fellow wedding vendors from all the different fields.

In the past few years I had the chance  to get to know many talented women who are helping brides make their wedding dreams come true. One of them is Terhi Löfman, the talent and heart behind Ateljee Aaria. When she told me about her new collection I was thrilled to work with her again. From previous collaborations I already knew her delicate and feminine style when it comes to wedding gowns, and the use of lace in her creations.

This was one of my favourite projects in 2017. Her collection consists of several 2 piece gowns that can be mix-and-matched, and gives more possibilities for the brides to create something unique with choosing their preferred skirt and lace top.

We took the photos in Studio Elli, where the white interior fit perfectly with the style of the gowns.
